Position Summary

The Corporate Finance Associate willjoin our team to perform data and financial analysis that assist with strategic business decisions, such as annual budgets, corporate finance, operations and ad hoc projects as needed. The Associate will also assist in preparing and presenting accurate and timely reports for the Board, senior management, business leaders, and external stakeholders.

You will

  • Collaborate on various financial analyses to guide decision making
  • Lead the budget, forecast, and financial reporting for the lines of business you support
  • Perform financial modeling for key investment decisions and internally developed products
  • Maintain up-to-date reporting on financial performance (volume, profitability, contribution margin, capital efficiency, cash burn)
  • Maintain and improve the corporate financial model
  • Manage variance analysis between plan and actuals on a department level
  • Perform detailed variance analysis evaluating results vs. forecasts and assist in the preparation of standardized reporting packages & board materials.
  • Partner with other members of the Finance department to ensure accurate support for forecast figures are available upon request.
  • Provide dedicated analytical & reporting support for business leaders, focusing on opportunities in growth, planning, efficiency, and controls.
  • Develop operational capacity and forecast modeling for portfolio, delinquency, activity drivers, staffing, etc.

We are looking for someone with

  • 2 years of Financial Modeling Experience
  • Build complex bottoms up three statement financial models/forecasts for the business, including conducting sensitivity
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration
  • A strong understanding of three statement analysis
  • 2-3 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, M&A, and/or private equity experience preferred.
